Wisconsin Pressed Flower Artist Elizabeth W.
Botanical collage artist Elizabeth Wank
lives, gardens, and creates in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin.
The vast majority of the flowers she
uses are grown in her gardens, and pressed with a microwave flower press,
which presses the flowers almost instantly - capturing and preserving their
vivid colors. Her signature handmade paper is made from recycled printer
paper with additional plant fibers.
Elizabeth’s pressed flower cards are
sold in unique stores through out the country, as well as at the Brookfield
Farmer’s Market through out the summer. She is a board member of the
Antioch Fine Arts Foundation and Gallery, where she also teaches handmade
paper making classes.
"All I have seen
teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
(1803 - 1882)
